It had been 8 years since Chico Buarque, a true Brazilian music icon, had stepped into a studio to record “Carioca”, his first on an independent label. And he had never allowed his creative process to be filmed. More than a making of an album, “Desconstrução” is an intimate portrait of an artist, stripped down as if unaware of the presence of the camera. Released as a DVD/CD combo by Biscoito Fino records, the documentary had such impact that it became the main topic on the press reviews.
